Datamanagement

The scheme below gives an overview of the many topics which are relevant in datamanagement in care registrations.

Requests for information arise with a question for indicators of outcomes of care. If you want to have a well founded report on this topic, treatments need to be structured and take place according to protocols and be captured in that way.

An important part of the proces is protecting the clients privacy. To be able to collect data on patient level and a national scale there are various technical solutions possible. Regarding the technical infrastructure IVZ applies the guidelines of the NEN 7510 certification. Biennially external auditors rate the status of the information security and the technical infrastructure of according to these standards. It is also expected by IVZ that partners with whom we work together conform as much as possible to this standard.

For the purpose of research and analyses it is wishful to regularly bring data from persons from mulitple sources together. To protect the privacy of the person involved and to suffice to the law protection of personal data, we are working on a unique encryption of identificating data.

We realise this in cooperation with ZorgTTP, the expert in the Netherlands when it comes to pseudonimisation and anonimisation of personal data, by which separation of data and keys is assured. There where no connection of data is wished, there will be no identificational data collected.
